London sits far enough north that, around midsummer, the sun never drops 18° below the horizon — the depth most methods use to define dawn. On those nights a strict angle method has no answer for Fajr or Isha, and every app falls back on a rule of its own. That is why London timetables disagree more in June than at any other time of year, and why the gap between methods in the figures below is measured in hours rather than minutes.
British mosques do not share one timetable. The times here use the Moonsighting Committee method, which adjusts the twilight by season instead of holding one angle all year and gives summer Fajr and Isha times close to what most London mosques print; the comparison column shows the Muslim World League result, which follows its fallback rule through the summer. If your mosque publishes a timetable, it is the one your congregation prays by.
