In Türkiye prayer times are set nationally by the Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet), and the calls to prayer from Istanbul's mosques follow its published times. Diyanet's timetable adds temkin — a few precautionary minutes on some prayers to account for the city's spread and elevation — which is why a generic app set to an angle alone can be a minute or two off the ezan.
The times here use the Diyanet method, with the Umm al-Qura result alongside for comparison, since that is the default in a number of international apps. Istanbul's summer days are long enough that the gap between conventions is noticeable at Fajr, but the city never loses true night, so no fallback rule applies.
